The security authorities in Dhale Province have seized a large shipment of weapons with 8 people, aged between 30-50 years.

The seizure took place while the people were driving a car in Qatabah district and the shipment of 11000 weapons included RPGs, rockets and ammunitions.

It comes amid the intensified crackdown on arms trade and the efforts to boost the security in the region.

On the other hand, about 11268 unlicensed weapons were captured last month in a number of Yemen's governorates as the campaign to free Yemeni cities from guns continues.
